Sandringham 93 def Eltham 75 — Watch the Replay

Malith Machar delivered a stellar performance with 27 points as the Sandringham Sabres dominated the Eltham Wildcats 93-75 at Montmorency Secondary College. Machar was outstanding from deep, shooting 6-from-10 from three-point range, while Fabijan Krslovic recorded a monster 20-rebound effort, including 18 defensive boards. Mitchell McCarron led Eltham with 23 points on 8-from-16 shooting.

Sandringham controlled the glass throughout the contest, outrebounding Eltham 53-40 and shooting at a more efficient clip (44 percent from the field compared to Eltham's 34 percent). The Sabres established a commanding 27-point lead at one stage and were never truly threatened. Five Sandringham players scored in double figures, with Ben Ayre adding 15 points and Tom Koppens contributing a perfect 5-from-5 from the field for 14 points.

Melbourne 84 def Kilsyth 83 — Watch the Replay

Thomas Wilson and Harrison Froling each scored 24 points as the Melbourne Tigers narrowly defeated the Kilsyth Cobras 84-83 in a thrilling contest at Kilsyth Sports Centre. Wilson posted a double-double with 11 rebounds while shooting an impressive 11-from-12 from the free throw line. Froling was remarkably efficient, connecting on 10-from-14 from the field, including 3-from-6 from beyond the arc.

The back-and-forth battle featured nine lead changes, with Kilsyth holding the advantage for over 32 minutes of the game. Adrian Tomada led the Cobras with 21 points, while Dillon Stith recorded a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds along with six assists. Despite Kilsyth's hot outside shooting (40.6 percent from three compared to Melbourne's 30 percent), the Tigers' domination in the paint (38 points to 26) and nearly perfect free throw shooting (19-from-20) proved decisive in the one-point victory.
