BA CoE 97 def Norths Bears 88 — Watch the Replay
Nash Walker delivered a stellar shooting performance with 33 points as BA Centre of Excellence defeated Norths Bears 97-88 at the AIS. Walker was on fire from deep, connecting on 8-from-16 three-pointers while shooting an efficient 45 percent from the field overall. The Centre of Excellence displayed outstanding ball movement with 21 assists compared to Norths' 10, with Alexander Dickeson recording a double-double of nine points and 12 rebounds while dishing out 10 assists.
Austin Patterson led the Bears with 27 points on 10-from-22 shooting, while Lachlan Bofinger added 20 points and Matthew Wacher contributed 20 points including 4-from-5 from three-point range. Despite shooting a respectable 47.8 percent from the field, Norths struggled at the free throw line, making just 13-from-26 attempts (50 percent). BA CoE's control of the game was evident as they led for nearly 39 minutes of playing time while shooting a solid 50.8 percent from the field and 43.8 percent from beyond the arc.

Lochlan Hutchison scored 22 points including a clutch 14-from-16 from the free throw line as Sutherland Sharks edged Sydney 72-66 at Comets Stadium. Despite shooting just 28.8 percent from the field, Sutherland capitalized at the charity stripe, converting 29-from-37 free throws. Jason Spurgin added 17 points and nine rebounds while drawing eight fouls to help secure the victory.
Obiri Kyei recorded a dominant double-double for Sydney with 15 points and 18 rebounds along with four blocks, while Anthony Mundine contributed 14 points including 4-from-9 from three-point range. Both teams struggled from deep with Sydney shooting 25 percent and Sutherland connecting on just 22.7 percent of their attempts. The closely contested battle featured 23 lead changes and nine ties, with Sutherland's ability to get to the line ultimately making the difference in the six-point victory.
