Australia's NBL Select team will face some of the best players in Japan's B.League as well as two American imports in a two-game series in Japan on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29 2025, streamed live and free here at basketball.com.au.
The live streams will start at 8pm AEST on both Saturday and Sunday.
Jonnivius Smith, 24, and Will Baker, 24, have been included in the B.League United 10-player squad to play some of Australia's best men's basketballers this weekend.
Smith is a 206cm big who played for the University of Texas in the 2024-25 NCAAM season while Baker, a 213cm centre, played for Iowa Wolves in the NBA's G League. Baker started 33 games and averaged 11 points and four rebounds.

NBL Select is coached by Simon Mitchell, the first coach of the South East Melbourne Phoenix.

DJ Mitchell: A versatile forward known for his athleticism and scoring touch, Mitchell has become one of the league’s most consistent performers.
Kyle Adnam: A respected NBL veteran, Adnam brings a decade of experience and leadership, carving out a reputation as one of the league’s most reliable guards.
Angus Glover: A three-time NBL Champion with the Sydney Kings, Glover’s toughness, defence, and clutch play will be pivotal against elite international competition.
